Credit Card Information

We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. You can also elect to pay via Paypal. Upon checkout, you will be asked for your shipping and billing information, as well as your form of payment. When using Paypal, you will be automatically transferred to PayPal to complete your transaction. Please ensure you input the number correctly so that we may process your order expediently.

Gift Certificates

Gift Certificates are a simple way to shop for the person who is "So Difficult to Please" or who "Has Everything!" We offer Gift Certificates for all budgets: from $5 to $200. If you would like a Gift Certificate in an even greater amount, please contact us either by phone or email. When you order a gift certificate, you will be issued an authorization number via email. You will also be sent a hard copy of a Homespun Hearth Gift Certificate, with the same authorization number. You have the ability, therefore, to either "give" the gift immediately (by providing the authorization number to the recipient yourself), or wait and give the Homespun Hearth Gift Certificate. No shipping charges or taxes apply to Gift Certificates! We can also send the Gift Certificate directly to your friend or loved one -- just provide the necessary information in the "Special Instructions" at checkout.

How to Order

The easiest ordering method to follow is our secure on-line ordering process. Enter the Quantity for Each Item. When you are finished shopping, simply click "Check Out" at the top of the page. The order process will take you along smoothly through the final check-out, where you will enter your billing & shipping information, PayPal -or- credit card number, and then final verification. Upon approval, you will be issued an order number. You can track your order through our shipment tracking department. See Phone, FAX, and Mail Orders for additional ordering methods.

Phone, FAX, and Mail Orders

You may phone, fax or mail your order. Add your choices to the Current Basket. When you have selected all the items you wish to purchase, continue to the Check Out page. In the Payment Method list, select "Phone or Fax." This option will allow you to print your order summary so that you can phone, fax or mail it to us. Once payment is received and authorized, you will be emailed an Order number, which you can use to track your shipment.

International Orders

Follow the procedures for the Credit Card or Paypal method above.

International Customers are just as important as domestic customers, and we do our best to ensure that you have a wonderful shopping experience at Homespun Hearth. While we cannot always do so, we will attempt to get your order into a Priority International Envelope. The Customer will be responsible for all Customs Fees and Country Taxes.

"Free Shipping" incentives only applies to US domestic orders - International customers will receive $8 off of their shipping costs during shipping promotions.

Homespun Hearth respects the privacy of all our visitors and customers. We do not share your personal information with any other companies, organizations or individuals. This information is maintained only for providing quality service to you. General visitor information, which may be disclosed to third parties, will consist solely of aggregated information on a set of visitors, never individuals.

Homespun Hearth only uses your e-mail address to inform you of the receipt of your order, notify you of exclusive promotions, and to thank you for your business. You will always have the option to unsubscribe from our mailing list by sending an e-mail to customerservices@homespunhearth.com and putting "Unsubscribe" in the subject line.

Ordering online at Homespun Hearth™ is safe and easy. Your comfort and security while shopping with us is very important. We have carefully selected our transaction merchant and host company to ensure state-of-the-art secure transaction technology. To provide extra assurance, in the unlikely event that charges are ever incurred from unauthorized use of your credit card, most banks will either cover all the charges that result, or limit your liability to $50 US, the maximum liability allowed under the Fair Credit Billing Act. It is the consumer's responsibility to notify the credit card provider of the unauthorized use in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.

The personal information you submit during checkout is encrypted and processed on our secure server. The Check-out page requests your personal information and credit card number. Whenever you provide any company this information, you should see this lock at the bottom of your screen if you are using Internet Explorer. If you are using Netscape, you will see this unbroken key or this lock at the bottom of your screen. These symbols indicate that you are connected to a secure server, and therefore you can be assured that your personal information is protected. If you do not see these symbols, do not provide you personal or credit card information as the server is not secure.

Promotions and Discounts

Occasionally, Homespun Hearth™ will run a promotion that will have a special authorization code. When you are issued this code, please add the items you wish to purchase to your basket. When you begin the check-out process, you will enter the promotion code into the Promotion/Gift Certificate Authorization Number box. When you press "Enter Code", the discounted amount will be reflected in "discount applied" on the updated order form. If you decide to continue shopping, the discounted amount will be reflected on your modified order. Please note that there are no refunds on sale, clearance, or discounted items.

Return & Refund Policy

Homespun Hearth™ aims for 100% customer satisfaction. We are not satisfied until you, our valued customer, are satisfied. We are certain that the products you order will delight you.

However, if for any reason you are not completely happy with your order, please know that we will do our best to resolve any problems. We have a 30 day return policy for items you are not satisfied with. Simply call our number at: (719) 481-0197, or email us and we will either resolve the problem over the phone, or we will issue you a return receipt number for an exchange or a refund (per the below criteria and charges). Please do not return any items without first receiving the return authorization number - this number will expedite your exchange or refund. Please note that there are no refunds on sale, clearance, or discounted items.

Please note the following criteria and charges:

  • * Refunds will not be given for shipping & handling charges.
  • * A minimum 10% restocking fee is charged for most allowable returns.
  • * A minimum 15% restocking fee is charged for BOM returns or items that require excessive time to ensure all parts are returned.
  • * Sale items and cut yardage may not be returned.
  • * Due to copyright laws, patterns and books may not be returned.
  • * All returns must be in original condition and packaging.
  • * Returns where a smoke odor is detected will not be refunded.
  • * All costs incurred to ship the item/s to you will also be deducted from your refund total.
  • * Club membership fees are non-refundable.
  • * Items returned to us after 30 days will receive store credit.

If you receive a damaged package, you MUST contact the carrier immediately. The carrier is responsible for all damaged merchandise, and they will require to look at the packaging and the contents. All delivery issues can only be solved with the carrier. We would, however, like to know if you experience any problems with the carrier, as this will help us to improve customer service and satisfaction.

Wish List

To ADD (move) an item into your current basket, click "ADD TO BASKET." This will place the wish list items into your current basket so that you may purchase them. You may also add new items to the Wish List. The items on the list will be saved until you add/move them to your current basket, up to 2 weeks, at which time they will need to be re-stocked. You can access your Wish List at any time.

Homespun Hearth™ is sensitive to your busy lifestyle. To enable you to do your shopping during those treasured blocks of time, we have set up a "Wish List". This allows you to shop today, and buy tomorrow! To add any item to the list, insert the quantity desired, and then click "Add to Wish List". You will be asked to enter your email and a password, and then you will see that the order is waiting for pick-up later. You may modify the quantity of any item, and then click "Recalculate Order."

Shipping Information

Free shipping is for continental United States only, and is only valid for regular priced items in your cart. ie: If you have $150 worth of regular priced items in your cart, then regardless of the other items in your cart, you will receive free shipping. However, if the total of the regular priced items in the cart is less than $150, then free shipping will not be applied. International Orders receive $8 shipping discount with $150+ orders. Sales tax, gift wrap and gift certificates do not apply towards minimum. Shipping for Parcel Post only and can not be applied toward any other shipping method. Offer good for in-stock merchandise only, and is not valid with any other offer or where prohibited by law. Orders must be placed directly online at www.homespunhearth.com.

We calculate your shipping charges as close to the actual charge as is possible with our software. Homespun Hearth™ generally ships via UPS, and we have found that tracing a lost package is expedient with UPS.

If you receive a damaged package, you MUST contact the carrier immediately. The carrier is responsible for all damaged merchandise, and they will need to look at the packaging and the contents. All delivery issues can only be solved with the carrier. We would, however, like to know if you experience any problems with the carrier, as this will help us to improve customer service and satisfaction.

Tax Information

Per Guidelines set out by the Colorado Department of Revenue, Homespun Hearth must charge 7.9% sales tax on items that are shipped to Colorado. If a Customer's billing address is in Colorado, but the products are shipped out of state, the customer is exempt from Colorado Sales Tax. All items shipped to a Colorado address will be required to pay the 7.9% Colorado Sales Tax. For more information, see Publication 101, Regulation 1620, @ www.boe.ca.gov.

Tell a Friend

Homespun Hearth™ provides an easy way for you to Tell a Friend about us! Simply fill in your friend's email information, and we do the rest. We will not put your friend's email address into our database unless your friend requests us to do so. This is purely a simple way for you to let your loved ones know what a great treasure you have found!! (Can you tell we love this place?!)

You can also elect to send a Homespun Hearth™ Product Information to a friend. Simply click email a friend, and complete the information.
